The GAMECHANGER Solution

The intelligence remains human. The endurance becomes mechanical.

GAMECHANGER is designed to transfer the physical work of underwater mining from the diver to a remotely operated mechanical system, while keeping the experienced operator in control.

From the surface, the operator can observe the seabed, position the machine and control the excavation and recovery process with the precision required to work complex diamond-bearing ground.

The objective is simple: preserve the judgement developed through decades of practical marine diamond mining, while removing the physiological limits that restrict human divers.

ENGINEERED TO REPLICATE THE DIVER — NOT REPLACE HIS JUDGEMENT

GAMECHANGER does not attempt to automate the judgement of an experienced marine diamond diver. It transfers the diver’s physical work to a remotely operated mechanical system.

From the surface, the operator retains direct control of positioning, excavation and recovery — using cameras and remotely controlled hydraulic movements to work the seabed with the precision demanded by diamond-bearing ground.

The operator makes the decisions. GAMECHANGER does the physical work.

HOW GAMECHANGER REPLICATES THE DIVER’S PHYSICAL MOVEMENTS

GAMECHANGER uses a coordinated system of independently controlled hydraulic movements to reproduce the positioning and working actions normally performed by a diver on the seabed.

The machine can be positioned, stabilised and progressively moved across the mining face while its excavation tools and suction nozzles are controlled independently. This allows the operator to expose, inspect and recover diamond-bearing gravel selectively rather than simply dredging everything in its path.

The result is a machine designed around the way marine diamonds are actually mined — from the seabed upwards, based on practical production experience.

CONTROLLED MOVEMENT. SELECTIVE RECOVERY. CONTINUOUS OPERATION.

GAMECHANGER is designed to combine controlled seabed movement with selective recovery, allowing the operator to work specific areas of diamond-bearing ground instead of relying on broad, indiscriminate excavation.

Because the system is remotely operated, productive working time is no longer governed by diver bottom-time, decompression schedules, fatigue or depth-related exposure.

With suitable surface support, the objective is to achieve extended — potentially continuous — underwater operation while maintaining precise control of the mining face.

More working time. Greater depth capability. Less dependence on human endurance.

THE ENGINEERING SYSTEM

GAMECHANGER is built around a coordinated system of remotely controlled hydraulic movements, allowing the machine to position, stabilise and work the seabed under direct operator control.

Its independently controlled hydraulic functions reproduce the movements normally performed by a diver — positioning the mining head, manipulating excavation tools, controlling the suction nozzles and progressively advancing across the mining face.

The system is designed as an integrated underwater mining platform rather than a single suction tool.

84 INDEPENDENTLY CONTROLLED HYDRAULIC MOVEMENTS

GAMECHANGER uses 84 independently controlled hydraulic movements to reproduce the positioning, reach and working actions required at the seabed.

Rather than forcing the entire machine to move for every mining action, individual hydraulic functions allow the operator to control the machine's support, positioning, excavation and recovery systems independently.

This gives the operator the ability to make controlled adjustments while working irregular bedrock, gravel pockets, gullies and changing seabed conditions.

The purpose of the 84 movements is not complexity for its own sake. It is mechanical dexterity — giving the surface operator the physical capability previously provided by the diver.

SELECTIVE EXCAVATION AND RECOVERY

GAMECHANGER is designed to work selectively at the mining face rather than excavating everything in its path.

Under direct operator control, the excavation tools expose and loosen material while the suction nozzles recover targeted diamond-bearing gravel. Individual hydraulic movements allow the mining head and tools to be repositioned as the seabed changes.

This allows the operator to work around irregular bedrock, gullies and gravel pockets with the same selective approach developed through decades of diver-based marine diamond mining.

Excavate what is necessary. Recover what matters. Leave unnecessary seabed disturbance behind.

CONTINUOUS OPERATION — BEYOND THE LIMITS OF THE DIVER

GAMECHANGER removes the diver from the seabed while retaining the experienced operator’s judgement at the surface.

Conventional diver-based production is restricted by bottom time, decompression requirements, fatigue, depth and safety. As depth increases, productive working time decreases while the complexity and cost of supporting the diver increase.

GAMECHANGER is designed to change that equation. With the operator controlling the machine remotely, underwater working time is determined primarily by the mechanical system, surface support and operating conditions — not human endurance.

The objective is extended, potentially 24-hour operation, at depths where conventional diver-based production becomes increasingly restricted or impractical.

FROM DIVER BOTTOM TIME TO MACHINE WORKING TIME

Conventional marine diamond diving produces only a limited number of productive hours during each 24-hour period. Every working dive is constrained by depth, bottom time, decompression, diver changes, fatigue and safety requirements.

GAMECHANGER is designed around a fundamentally different production cycle. The operator remains at the surface while the machine continues working on the seabed.

At approximately 18 metres, removing the limitations of diver bottom time creates the potential for a major increase in productive working hours. As operating depth increases, that advantage becomes progressively greater.

The deeper the operation, the greater the potential advantage of remotely operated production.

DESIGNED TO GO WHERE DIVERS CANNOT

Conventional marine diamond diving becomes progressively more difficult as depth increases. Bottom time reduces, decompression obligations increase and the operational risks become greater.

GAMECHANGER is designed without the physiological depth limitations of a diver. The operator remains at the surface while the remotely controlled machine works on the seabed.

This opens the possibility of working deeper diamond-bearing ground using the same principle of selective excavation and recovery developed in shallow-water diver operations.

The mining method remains. The depth limitation changes.

MODULAR BY DESIGN — BUILT FOR THE SEABED

GAMECHANGER is designed as a modular underwater mining platform. Its structural, hydraulic, buoyancy, excavation and recovery systems work together but can be configured to suit different operating conditions.

The machine is supported on independently controlled landing points, allowing it to stabilise, adjust its working position and progressively advance across uneven seabed terrain.

Modular construction also allows components to be maintained, replaced or adapted without redesigning the complete mining system.

One platform. Multiple controlled functions. Built around the realities of working on the seabed.

CONTROLLED BUOYANCY — STABLE ON THE SEABED

GAMECHANGER combines buoyancy with controlled seabed support so that the machine can be deployed, positioned and stabilised without relying on its full structural weight alone.

Once on the mining face, independently controlled support points allow the operator to adjust the machine to uneven bedrock and changing seabed conditions while maintaining control of the excavation and recovery systems.

Buoyancy also assists deployment, recovery and repositioning of the machine as mining progresses.

Heavy enough to work the seabed. Controlled enough to move with precision.

DEPLOYMENT, RECOVERY AND REPOSITIONING

GAMECHANGER is designed to be deployed from a suitable surface support vessel and lowered to the seabed under controlled conditions.

Once positioned on the mining face, its buoyancy and independently controlled support system allow the machine to stabilise, reposition and progressively advance as mining continues.

When required, the system can be recovered to the surface for inspection, maintenance, modification or relocation to a new working area.

Deploy. Position. Mine. Recover. Reposition. Repeat.

BUILT FROM DECADES ON THE SEABED

GAMECHANGER was not conceived from theory alone. It is the result of more than four decades of practical marine diamond production and a lifetime working underwater.

The system draws directly on experience gained as a commercial diver, diving supervisor, vessel owner, skipper, production manager and offshore saturation technician — working with the realities of seabed excavation, suction recovery, sand removal, hydraulics and underwater machinery.

Every major function of GAMECHANGER has been developed around a simple question: how would an experienced diver physically do this job on the seabed?

The intelligence remains human. The endurance becomes mechanical.

FROM EXPERIENCE TO ENGINEERING

GAMECHANGER brings together the lessons learned from decades of marine diamond production and converts them into a remotely controlled mechanical mining system.

The objective is not simply to build another underwater machine. It is to reproduce the positioning, dexterity and selective working ability of an experienced diver while removing the restrictions imposed by human physiology.

The result is a platform intended to work longer, operate deeper and recover diamond-bearing gravel with precise operator control.

Forty years of seabed experience. Translated into engineering.

THE NEXT STEP IS TO BUILD IT

GAMECHANGER has progressed from decades of operational experience through concept development, engineering design and patent protection. The next stage is the construction and testing of the first full-scale system.

The prototype programme will prove the mechanical, hydraulic, control and recovery systems under real marine operating conditions and provide the foundation for commercial deployment.

GAMECHANGER Dredging Solutions is now preparing for this next phase and seeking the strategic investment and engineering partnerships required to move from design to production.

The concept exists. The engineering path is defined. The next step is to build it.

INVESTMENT & STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

GAMECHANGER Dredging Solutions is seeking strategic investment and engineering partners to take the patented concept through full-scale prototype construction, marine testing and commercial deployment.

The opportunity is built around more than four decades of practical marine diamond production experience combined with a remotely operated mining system designed to overcome the fundamental limitations of diver-based production.

The first objective is clear: build, test and prove the full-scale GAMECHANGER system under real marine diamond mining conditions.

For the right partners, this is an opportunity to participate at the point where proven seabed experience becomes a new mining technology.
